Willing Workers On Organic Farms (WWOOF)- Canada

The WWOOF program brings people to farms who
are traveling, staying a week or two and those whose
main objective is to meet local locals, see the country,
learn different organic practices and work with different
people. WWOOF links volunteers world-wide offering
hands-on experience, in exchange for meals and
accommodations, in organic and alternative farming.
WWOOFers pay to become and member for one year
and receive booklet which lists host farms. Farmers are
also asked to pay to become a member for one calendar
year and list in the book.
